Up for sale is a vintage IBM ThinkPad T30 laptop with Windows 98 SE and XP Professional dual boot system installed. It is in great working condition. Software:Windows XP, Windows 98 SE, and old MS Office (under XP), vintage software and games, etc.Hardware:
The laptop is equipped with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU at 1.8 Ghz, 1.0 GB RAM (Max for Win98), 60 GB hard drive, 14" LCD (1024x768), Both 9-pin Serial port and 25-pin Printer port (many legacy applications rely on these ports), DVDROM drive, 2 USB ports, Modem port, External VGA port, PCMCIA slot, LAN port, etc. Main Battery holds some charge, about 30 minutes, CMOS battery was just replaced, OEM AC Adapter is also included.
This laptop is most suitable for legacy Windows XP applications, and Windows 95/98 gaming and other vintage applications. As far as Internet goes, the Windows 98 SE supported browsers are is too old for modern WEB pages. Windows XP can do some basic internet only, So do not buy this for Internet purposes.Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear for its age. There are scrtaches on LCD lid top and bottom. overall in good cosmetic condition for its age. See pictures.
