This MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard is an excellent choice for gamers and PC enthusiasts alike. It has an ATX form factor and is compatible with Intel CPUs with LGA 1151/Socket H4. The motherboard has four memory slots that support DDR4 SDRAM.The MSI Z170A Gaming M5 also features several expansion slots including PCI Express x4, PCI Express 3.0 x16, PCI, PCI Express x1, Dual PCI Express x16, PCI Express x8, and PCI Express x16. It also has a variety of input/output ports such as Optical S/PDIF Out, PS/2, SATA III, eSATA, SATA II, USB 1.0/1.1, HDMI, SATA I, Ethernet (RJ-45), USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 3.1. This motherboard also has on-board audio, multi-GPU support, and an on-board video chipset. It is most suitable for gaming and is a great addition to any computer build.This is a used motherboard but it works as it just came from factory. Please note that the SKU on the box has been cut out for a rebate claim when I first bought this.
Note: This is a LGA1151 board that is guaranteed to be compatible ONLY with 6th generation Intel CPUs. This board may be able to be bios upgraded to support 7th gen CPUs, but you will need a 6th gen CPU to facilitate the upgrade. All of our motherboards ship with the original bios and it is extremely unlikely that a 7th gen CPU will work out of the box.
