Reproduction front dress (face) plate for an original Altair 8800 computer. This is designed to work on my original Altair and will not fit clones. Panel is 16.450" x 6.50" and is milled from 2.0mm black anodized aluminum with white print. The name plate was manufactured on brushed aluminum stock with printed design. Name plate is fixed to main panel with double sided tape as the original was. As stated this is a reproduction the black anodized aluminum shows (in my opinion) better than the original painted panel. The fonts are very close to original but not exact. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. This was mounted to my Altair to confirm fitment and does have some minor scratches to the back of the panel but the front is flawless. I'm trying to offset the cost of design and manufacturing if there's enough interest I may have more produced. To be absolutely clear the last two pictures are of this panel on my Altair and the sale is for the front panel only and "Does not include the computer".
