How do I change the default language settings on an remastered knoppix
How do I add an icon theme on an knoppix cd?

change the 105 row of /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig to read sth like this:

[ -n "$LANGUAGE" ] || LANGUAGE="XX"

Where XX is your language..

you can add a new icon theme by copying icons to /etc/skel/.kde/icons and editing correct /etc/skel/.kde/shared/config/kdeglobals entry (or in this fashion anyway .. writting from my head..)
