Hi folks,
I'm looking at various options for a network recovery plan. The assumption is that there's a Linux-based Samba server acting as a domain controller & file server, along with a W2K server doing application stuff. I'm wondering if in the off-chance the Linux box goes down, if I have the user database and smb.conf file backed up already, is there a way to just put the Knoppix CD in and get Samba up and running quickly to be able to authenticate users?
Thanks for your help.
