Konqueror will no longer open http://www..... links
Konqueror will no longer open http://www..... links, type the link in the Konqueror window and it just comes back with this (using www.google.co.uk as an example):-
Open 'http://www.google.co.uk/' using 'Mozilla Navigator'?
(In a 'question' dialog box).
For sure I use Mozilla mostly, but on occasions, a choice of browser lets pages render differently.
It must be something to do with having Mozilla as a default, or file associations, but even if it's ststaring me in the face I cannot spot it!
Help!

If you want to have another choice then open Konqueror and in the Settings menu choose Configure Konqueror and in the File Associations option check in the text -> html in the General tab for the Application Preference order and see if Konqueror is in the list if not then add it, then you should be able to right click on a link and have it as a choice in the open with menu. This only seems to work with KDE applications I cannot figure out where a similar setting is in Firebird which is what I have for a backup to Konqueror for the few times I need it.
You would need to check the alternatives for the x-www-browser if you want to change it system wide and have Konqueror used first for links clicked on.
Code:
HappyTux:/home/stephen# update-alternatives --display x-www-browser
x-www-browser - status is auto.
link currently points to /usr/bin/konqueror
/usr/bin/MozillaFirebird - priority 70
slave x-www-browser.1.gz: /usr/share/man/man1/mozilla-firebird.1.gz
/usr/bin/konqueror - priority 100
Current `best' version is /usr/bin/konqueror.
You would need to use --config in the line if you want to change the link settings.
